Registration & Eligibility
Who can participate?
Students in Classes 9-10 (School category) or Classes 11-12 (College category), including SSC-26 and HSC-26 students across Bangladesh.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, there is a nominal registration fee of BDT 50 to cover administrative costs. This minimal fee ensures serious participation while keeping the competition accessible to all students.
Can I register for multiple segments?
Yes, you can participate in all three segments: General Science, Neuroscience, and IQ Challenges. You can compete in any combination that interests you.
Technical Requirements
What device and internet speed do I need?
A computer or laptop with stable internet (minimum 2 Mbps recommended). Tablets and phones are not recommended for the proctored exam as they may not support all monitoring features.
What happens if my internet disconnects?
You can reconnect and continue, but the timer keeps running. Ensure stable internet connection and backup plans (mobile hotspot) before starting your exam.
Which browsers are supported?
Latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge are recommended. Ensure your browser is up to date for optimal performance and compatibility with proctoring features.
Competition Format
How does the competition work?
The exam format is currently being finalized. Participants will be notified of the final format, duration, and scoring criteria via email and through our dashboard. Stay tuned for updates!
Can I retake the exam?
No, you get one attempt per segment. Choose your time wisely and ensure you're fully prepared before starting. Once you begin, you cannot restart.
What topics should I study?
General Science covers physics, chemistry, biology, and earth sciences. Neuroscience focuses on brain function and cognitive science. IQ Challenges test logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and analytical skills.
Proctoring & Academic Integrity
How does online monitoring work?
Our system monitors tab switching and detects unauthorized tools. Your exam session is recorded for integrity verification. No webcam is required, but desktop monitoring is active throughout your exam.
What is not allowed during the exam?
AI tools, browser extensions, tab switching, external devices, or any form of external assistance are strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate disqualification and may affect your academic standing.
What if I accidentally switch tabs?
Occasional accidental switches may be reviewed during our audit process. However, repeated violations will be flagged as potential violations of academic integrity policies. Stay focused on the exam tab.
Results & Recognition
When will results be announced?
Results will be announced in mid-March 2026. You'll receive your score, ranking, and certificate via email. Winners will also be announced on our website and social media.
What do winners receive?
Top 3 in each segment and category receive a crest, medal, and certificate. All participants receive participation certificates recognizing their involvement in Brain Bee Bangladesh 2026.
How are ties handled?
Speed is the tiebreaker. Among participants with equal accuracy, the fastest completion time wins. General Questions Q: Is this recognized internationally?
